Johnson O'Malley Program (JOM)
The JOM Program services the following schools: Hiawatha, Everest and Horton Schools in Brown County, KS, Highland, Riverside and Troy Schools in Doniphan County, KS, Falls City and Humbolt Schools in Richardson County, NE and Craig, Mound City and South Holt Schools in Holt County, MO. We offer services to children in preschool through 12th grade. However, we are unable to offer services to private schools.
Along with the completed application, you will need to bring: proof of address (utility bill, car registration, etc.) and a photo ID of the parent and/or guardian. All new applicants must also bring their CDIB card or letter from the Tribe stating enrollment eligibility.
To make things easier the Johnson O'Malley Committee has decided to try an "EXPRESS LANE" this year. All applications that we receive on or before July 26th will be ready for pickup upon arrival on August 2nd & 3rd. We ask that everyone wait their turn in the "Express line" we will have designated with your photo ID ready to pick up. The applications that we receive after this date or during distribution will wait in line as in previous years, this may be a bit longer as we will be fulfilling your childs' school list as you come in.
I would also like to add that the JOM committee will ONLY be paying what the school submits to us which are also determined by budget restrictions and a vote within the committee. JOM will only be paying the CURRENT year's enrollment fees.
